Weekly AAM Wrap 3 10 2010

Weekly Market Wrap : A quiet week of financial news led to the eight consecutive positive week for the S&P 500.  The S&P 500 finished at 1,194 up about 1.4% on the week.  Oil and The Dollar were both flat.  The dollar finished at $80.94 against other major work currencies, Oil finished at $84.92 per barrel.  Gold moved 3% higher this week trading at $1,160 per oz.

The Week at AAM : I began working with two new clients this week and met with 5 new prospects.  One prospect is a free financial plan I donated to a charity auction.  I am glad that my work has helped raise money for a good cause!  Two meetings were from referrals and the other two were from internet leads.  I am looking forward to working on some new financial plans and helping clients reach their financial goals.

I met with a member of my chamber leads group who cleans tile, grout, and carpets.  Please let me know if you need these services so that I can make a referral to him.  I’ve got another client that does carpet cleaning as well and would love to provide you with options.

I met with a client who had left the firm 3 years ago and is considering coming back to do some business with me again.  A lot has changed with me and the company over the last number of years and I would welcome those relationships that were lost to return and take another look.

I met with an estate planning attorney and client of mine and we are brainstorming some workshops we can put together to get the word out on what we do and how we can help.  If you have some ideas on what you would like to hear or a group we could present to please let me know.
