For the month ended April 2010 the S&P 500 closed at 1,169, ending the month up almost 6%. The markets have moved back into positive territory for the year.   Gold ended the month flat at $1,113 per oz and Oil ended up almost 5% at $83.49 per barrel.

Mortgage Rates
Mortgage rates have increased over the last month. The Schwab Bank 15-year rate is now at 4.66% and the 30-year rate is at 5.22%. These rates are as of 4/14/2010 and assume no points, no origination fee and a $250,000 mortgage.
